Beginning Anxieties

I hope this year will be a memorable first school experience for your child. In the beginning your child may display some anxiety about coming to school, may cry and not want you to leave. This is perfectly normal and understandable since it is a major event and change in his or her life. Our school day is long (after the first week) and adjustment may be even more difficult in the beginning, however, your child will soon make new friends and adjust to the new routine. He or she will be so involved and excited about school that the separation anxiety will decrease.
